Weekly Wrap Up!

This has been a hard week. Sean left for Toledo on Monday morning at 1am and didn't return until this afternoon at 1pm. In the meantime I got pretty sick and am still not completely healthy. Why does that always happen??? Usually the kids get sick when Sean goes away but this was really hard! I hate not being able to function as "the mom". Here are a few pictures from our week.

Weekly Wrap Up!

Highlights-

It was a good work week! Many online orders and parties booked! Lots of buzz and customers who are really excited about our products!

Haircuts!!! 4 out of 5 of my girls got a hair cut and Kendell got her very first cut! EXCITING!!! It is nice to have a bit of a refreshed look in the house!

Sean got news that there is so much work that everyone needs to work extra hours to keep up. It is just nice for him to have an abundance instead of not enough.

Prayer Requests-

Please pray for the family and friends of the Page family. For those who don't know Barbara Page of Wonder Lake and her two daughters were killed in a car accident last weekend. The daughters were in the 2nd grade and kindergarten and Kyla knew the younger daughter. I am heartbroken for this family and for the teachers who had the girls in their classes this year. I am sure this is a very difficult time for them.

Please pray for those who have sick babies at the moment. You can see some of them down my sidebar. (Stellan, Veiyah, and April) And pray for their mothers. God is using each of them in a mighty way although it happens to be through a very difficult time in their lives.

Please pray for balance for me. I know...I am always praying for balance. And everyone knows just how much I complain about it. I am just not good at it. Sean has been working more, home less and my schedule is still just as hectic as usual.

The chalk wall is here!!!

I got my chalk wall in the mail today. We will start selling them in kits(office, kitchen, and playroom) for $19.95 from April 13th-May11th. These are some pictures of mine which I put on my back splash above my sink.

All kits come with chalk wall, expressions to put on chalk wall, chalk and detailed instructions.(You will notice there IS NOT a front sheet on top of the chalk wall. It is a bit heavier therefore does not need a front sheet)

Here it is after the first piece was applied(chalkwall).

This is how you mark out where you want to put your expression on top of the chalkwall. Kinda handy that they give you the chalk!

Ta-Da!!!!! Finished product!

If you want to see this and other products check out my website. http://erin.uppercaseliving.net Chalkwall won't be available until April 13th!

Real Me Monday!

I am often asked "how do you do it with five kids". I kindly respond "not very well" for a few reasons...one being that I always want to be real about my life and secondly because I know that there are days that just don't go as well as others.

So in honor of those days, I thought I would give you a glimpse into the life of a mother of five with a REAL ME MONDAY post!

The real me has piles of laundry that have sat for days. I don't want to put them away. Here is proof! And...these piles are in my bedroom. You know, the one place that I should be in charge of...MY ROOM!!!! Yeah...I am sure my mom is not so shocked by this! Oh and I am sure you will notice that not only are their piles on the floor but((gasp))I need to vacuum!LOL

New Poll...

Is this a baby or a little girl?

Hey.there.Delilah.

Weekly {{{wrap}}} U P !

This week was back to school week for the kids as spring break came to a close last week. They like being at home but enjoy being at school{especially Kyla}. We are blessed to have teachers that not only enjoy teaching but enjoy our girls.

On Tuesday I packed up the baby team and we headed over to April's so that they could meet baby Tayler! It was very interesting to see how my girls interacted with the baby. After we were done I went to our family photographers house for her frame/proofs sale! It was AWESOME! Great deals on something that I really needed! I have lots of pictures...but not alot of frames!

This week also ended the month of March which meant that my monthly sales were due and it was the end of the quarter so everyone was putting sales through...which made things S L O W ! I was very releaved to get my last order in so that those customers were able to take advantage of the March specials.

I also pumped out two different newsletters and worked on Thursday night. I don't know how to explain how blessed I feel because I haven't seen a drop off due to the economic trend. Its a very strange feeling for us. And I don't want to call it "security" because I was always secure. God hasn't changed. He isn't better to us because we have steady work. He has always been good. And in fact, I think that you have to work harder to find him when things are going well. So...I am trying. It is TOO easy for me to fall back and relax in my relationship with God.

So, tonight we have the Olson fun fair. There is about 90 items for the silent auctions and 45 for the raffles. The raffle includes the classroom baskets. They are pretty great! The teacher picks a theme from a list(movie time, pet care, a beach day, etc.)and then sends a letter home to the parents asking them to donate something from the theme towards the classroom basket. Kiara's basket was "chocolate lovers" and Kellyn's basket was "loves to read" and I have heard that all the baskets are HUGE!!! Exciting!
